We used to go the Legends in Howard, WI all the time, but after moving to the country, we hadn't been there in a few years. We were in the neighborhood about a month ago on a Friday night, so we stopped by. We were SO disappointed!! We started out with Margaritas. They used to have a special high-end shaken variety that was served in the shaker - yum. When the margaritas finally made it to the table, they were not the same at all - they were terrible! During the very long wait for our food, the waitress asked how our drinks were and I said I was disappointed - that they tasted like lemonade - only lemonade. I asked if there was any tequila in it? She said yes, giggled, and walked away. I thought she would at least show SOME concern or offer to get us something else. The service was super slow and it took forever, but we finally got our food (the place was not busy at all). I ordered the deep fried mushrooms in beer batter and chicken wings. OMG, the mushrooms were one big slimy blob of greasy yuck! The chicken wings were cold and dry/hard from being overcooked. My husband got the perch plate. Again - OMG! The fish was rubbery and tasted very fishy - not fresh at all. Also, it was a very small amount of fish, considering they charged an arm and a leg for it! When the waitress finally came back with our bill, she asked the standard, "how was everything?". I didn't even go into detail about all of the items we were disappointed with, but did say how horrible the mushrooms were and asked if I could send them back and have the charge removed. Again, she didn't even apologize and acted like it was going to take an act of Congress to have the charge removed. After another very long wait, she came back with a revised bill, still with no apology or concern for our displeasure. I have never written a bad review before. If I've had a bad experience or meal, I've usually given the benefit of the doubt - a bad day, bad server, maybe it was me, etc. Not this time! Every single thing about it was awful! We feel totally ripped off. Not sure what happened to Legends, but I can say without a doubt - we will never go back there again! :(

We went to dinner for my birthday, so I got mine for free because it was under 12 dollars. I had the Reuben with fries and my Husband had the 16oz. Prime Rib. I have to say that the service was great, but I have never had corned beef that was as bad as it was last night, I couldn't even bite it let alone chew it, there was hardly any sauerkraut on it but the fries were good. My Husband's steak was okay. Oh and the drinks were overly priced, I had a mixer and they put it in a little tub and charged 4 dollars for it. In my opinion this is not a fair amount for what I got. Even though I didn't have to pay for my dinner our bill was still 34 dollars. I only had 2 drinks and my Husband had 2 beers. I don't think I would be going to this place again, they are charging too much for drinks and the food was just okay.

Went here with the kids on a Saturday night. Food was nothing to write home about, burger was improperly cooked, and service was slow considering it was not very busy. Decor is a bit dated, looks like it was opened 20 years ago and never updated. The beer (Dunkel) was average.

We came from out of the area, we alway look for small local businesses to support. We came to this brewhouse and the outside seems nice. When we walked in, the inside is very dated. We were expecting a pub/brewery style atmosphere and we got a very dark, gloomy dated space. Didn't really know where to sit or if we were suppose to wait to be seated. Once we found a spot we waited for awhile before we received a waitress (There was only 3 tables with a handful of people at the bar. There were four waiters and a bartender so they were staffed well). The table tops were sticky (asked waitress to clean and she didn't) and the stools had cuts in the material. We had to ask for the menus. While we were thinking about what to order we asked about the dessert of the week (the menu said it was new) the waitress said I don't know why that's on there. We have not had that for a very long time. We started with bloody marys.... They were not bad. Appetizers we passed on because they were not appealing (after getting our entree, we were glad we opted out) We both ordered burgers. The beef had no flavor, frys were basic, potato salad had great flavor but had huge chunks (quarter of a whole potato). Before leaving we used the restroom which seemed to be the nicer part of the building however they have two styles of wallpaper up.... Looks like they replaced only a portion to update it. Would not recommend.

The beer cheese soup is awesome and so are their ribs. Was able to get in and sit down right away on a Friday night. One of my favorite local restaurants.

This place delivers exactly what one should expect from a local bar/restaurant; a solid meal for a decent price. The place is clean and the service is friendly. Burgers, sandwiches and wraps, cheese curds, soups and chicken chili were all great choices. I visited on three occasions for lunch and never left disappointed.

Ran over on my lunch break to pick up something to go. I got the cajun shrimp wrap. It was decent. Nothing special and the fries were super soggy. The wrap was ok, but kind of on the spicy side. Prices are a bit too much for what you get. On the flip side, the place is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly.

You have to go with the home brewed root beer, deep fried cheese curds and the premium blackened cheeseburger oh! don't forget to order a coup of white beans & chicken chili.....Enjoy! Onion rings are made to order and huge!!!!!!

This place used to have the best White Chicken Chili ever! But now- change of owners, change of cooks, who knows- it tastes like extremely salty broth, with barely anything in it. So sad. There's good beer, but the food is adequate to poor. Fair warning.

Food is typical neighborhood bar and grill. Good beer. Go during happy hour where you can get a burger with fries and a pint of their brew for around $5.
